    No people should not take cloud security lightly, but I would argue in many instances the cloud deployments are often under better protection than their in-house applications/data. One key to making sure you are protected is to demand encryption not only at rest but while traveling back and forth. And until you are uncomfortable ease the transition starting with the least critical apps/data sets. Also, focus on working with experienced providers who take security serious. This has been a top topic recently at the CIO Collaboration Network (j.mp/CIOcolab).
