    The “odds math” only makes sense if entrepreneurs are starting companies that pick random things to do and VCs fund companies by drawing names out of a hat. Neither is correct. Smart flounders + smart funders = much better “odds.”

    Vision and talent have to align. And, the plan has to be on target with existing needs not something that people will potentially want three years down the road. The opportunities are there and you really do make your own odds.
