Going AWOL

December in New Zealand is prime summer time. Unlike my fellow CloudAve contributors in the Northern Hemisphere who are shivering at this time of the year, I’m wearing jandals and some of the hardest wearing shorts available (excuse the commercial plug!), enjoying a few beers out of a chilly bin and heading off on a traditional Kiwi summer holiday.

I’ll be heading as far north as you can in this country (which admittedly is still tens of thousands of kilometres/miles south of most of you) and enjoying the sights and smells from there back down to the home of Weta Workshops and The Lord of The Rings.

So that’s an exceptionally convoluted way of saying that I’m off and won’t be posting much for the next few week or two.(Other than the odd and pretty lightweight one or two).

I hope you all have a relaxing break (those of you who are taking a break) and I look forward to making 2009 an even more fantastic year than 2008 was.

Ciao!
