    Customers, not merely vendors, driving real-world requirements will determine the future of OpenStack and related programs. The iterative nature of open source makes debate typical and valuable. That said, customer requirements as they relate to private-to-public interoperability and how that manifests itself in the real world may determine the answer to AWS and equivalent support. –Paul Calento
