Having come into CA from a cloud start-up (Cassatt) myself, I always kind of assumed that start-ups are the main way technology gets pushed forward. However, I'm now getting a firsthand view of another way this can work. There is something to be said for one of the bigger companies throwing its weight in one direction or the other. I've also been impressed so far about some of the non-Old World aspects of CA. It's surprised me in the 6 months I've been onboard. Anyway, good post.
