    I have to agree with Phillips assertion: “Another thing about “failure” is that we try to kid ourselves that failure is a “good thing” a learning opportunity. Well, not in most cultures.”

    So true. Asia comes to mind and so do parts of Europe. Without a culture that allows failure and roots for the underdog, most failures end up as such.
