    There is indeed a “grand convergence” underway, in which not just collaboration and conferencing, but collaboration-conferencing-messaging tools are converging. Google Apps and Microsoft BPOS represent this shift. We have ourselves been evangelizing this approach for a couple of years. It is logical to have all these closely related tools in a single suite, and benefit from the synergies.
