    Hutch – did you miss how Intellipedia apparently made not a jot of difference in lieu of the Nigerian Pants Bomber?

    Yeah, I saw that. The article I referenced about it being a “marginal revolution” seems particularly apt in light of the Nigerian Pants Bomber.

    Doesn’t mean they give up on improving collaboration and information sharing. God, if they went that route, we’ll never get better.

    I’m not sure that’s true. Reports in NYT made direct comparisons between pre 9/11 and today, implying that nothing fundamental has changed. That resonated with what I heard Obama say on TV. 180 degrees from where the likes of Prof A.McAfee and others have positioned Intellipedia as a transformative project it seems.
