Open Source, my aaS ?

Open Source, my aaS ?

By Christian Reilly on February 27, 2011

On February 23rd, Infoworld blogger and cloud expert David Linthicum posted an article that, until today, I had been studiously trying to prevent from playing over and over like the proverbial stuck record in my rather inquisitive mind. My inquisition, and subsequently my inability to let this escape my attention, was not necessarily raised the [...]

Call For Pricing

Call For Pricing

By Christian Reilly on February 25, 2011

One of the most fascinating, yet relatively unchartered areas of cloud computing’s all-out assault on today’s enterprise is the complex beast that is the consumption-based pricing model. Managing Churn

By Christian Reilly on February 15, 2011

On Sunday, February 13th, Enomaly Founder, CTO & Cloud Dude, Reuven Cohen, posted a link via his twitter account to a Telecomasia.net article in which the author (Camille Mendler) instructed the intended audience to “Stop aping Amazon, start boasting” – a reference to the fact that, if you are one of the big Telcos, you should really be trying to find a differentiator other [...]

Service Please…

Service Please…

By Christian Reilly on February 11, 2011

On Tuesday of this week (Feb. 8th) my cloud-buddy, Ben Kepes, lined me up to participate in a Focus Group Round Table event entitled “Forwards and Upwards – 2011 In The Clouds“. Using his excellent moderating skills, Ben championed a very interesting 45 minute discussion (mp3 recording of which can be found here) with myself, [...]
