Paul Michaud

Paul Michaud has been designing and building some of the worlds largest, most scalable and highest performing applications, ever since 1985, when at the age of 15 he built his first automated trading systems for a Canadian bank.

Paul is currently the Global Executive IT Architect for the Financial Markets sector at IBM, where he has been since 2004.  In this role he works with the worlds largest Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers and Securities Exchanges, helping them solve their most pressing technology issues.  Paul is often an invited speaker at conferences where he has spoken on issues such as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), High Performance System Design, and a wide array of other topics.
