Oracle To Offer SaaS To Midsize Customers

Oracle has announced the launch of new software tools and services for helping out application deployments in the midmarket. This will include the option of subscription based pricing. "That whole [On Demand] program is being reviewed right now" by top-level executives, said Mark Keever, VP of Oracle's midsize application program. For example, subscription-based pricing is under consideration for mid-market JD Edwards. Apparently, the buck stops with Oracle President Safra Catz, the top money mind at Oracle. "It's on Safra's desk," Keever said. "It's something we're interested in doing at Oracle."

Digital Home Services and Support Leader Radialpoint Appoints SaaS Veteran William A. Kerrigan to President and CEO

According to news, William A. Kerrigan has been appointed as the President and CEO of Radialpoint. SAManage Releases API for IT Asset Management SaaS Solution

The on-demand IT management software provider, SAManage has announced the availability of a newly released Application Programming Interface (API). "With the rapidly increasing demand for SAManage among enterprise customers, one of the most common requests we were getting was to provide easy access to the IT asset information in SAManage and enable integration with other corporate systems," said SAManage CEO Doron Gordon. "Since SAManage was designed from the ground up to work with web services, the API is a natural extension of these capabilities. Some highly useful integration scenarios are already being created by several of our customers and partners, and we are very excited to see more of them use the API."

Blue Sky Network and Trindigo Integrate GPS Flight Tracking into Aviation Management SaaS
