Packet Island Intros SaaS-based Sniffer Product

Packet Island Inc. from California has released a new SaaS based sniffer product called PacketPro. The Packet Sniffing solution will allow managed service providers and IT outsourcing companies to remotely troubleshoot problems in their customers’ networks. Companies deploying this solution can also cut HR costs as a few experts at the corporate headquarters can provide nationwide support on complex voice-video-data issues.

Vjoon Unveils SaaS Option of its Web Publishing Solution

The German company, Vjoon has recently launched a SaaS solution for those in the media. The K4 publishing system is being used by many publishers like -BusinessWeek, Cosmopolitan, GQ, New York Magazine, Rolling Stone, The New Yorker — among others. A starter package is available starting at €990 (US$ 1,371) per month. It consists of a database, three designer seats, two editor licenses and Adobe InDesign CS4 Limited Server.

Mimecast to increase research and development by 100 percent in the next 12 months
