TouchCommerce Raises $10 Million From Sierra Ventures to Fuel Its Market Leading Online Interaction.

TouchCommerce, a leader in the field of Pay for Performance Online Conversion announced that they’ve raised $ 10 million in funding. Predictix launches SaaS suite for consumer-centric merchandising.

Oracle-Google deal ties CRM to Google Apps.

In recent news, two giants Oracle and Google have partnered with each other announcing a collaboration that makes it easier to shuttle data between Oracle and Google's desktop applications. "I know Oracle has made some noises about hosting customer data internally. Something like this [Google] announcement could help us decide in Oracle's favor if it proves more cost effective." said Bill Casey, an IT administrator with a large commercial bank in San Francisco.

In recent news, Affiliated Computer Services has introduced ACS Managed Mobility Services, a centralized solution for managing smartphones, including procurement, security and expense management. “CIOs are being asked to support mobile workers regardless of the device, network, location, access or application,” said Chris Tranquill, managing director of ACS Communication. He further adds, “ACS Managed Mobility Services removes these headaches with this one-stop solution. Streamline posts loss for 4Q, ’08.

Streamline Health Solutions Inc,  has posted a loss of $145,935, or 2 cents per share, compared to net income of $775,823, or 8 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter. Despite the loss they were excited about the fact that, there SaaS hosted model has done well and boast about their signup of a major contract with a Canadian health network through its Telus Health partnership. “We believe the stage is now set for consistently improving operational and financial performance going forward,” said Brian Patsy, CEO of Streamline Health Solutions Inc.

Report: Small Business Needs IT, Partners to Thrive.

The recently released 2009 Microsoft SMB Insight Report says small and midsized businesses view IT products and services as a means to control costs and streamline operations, giving them the ability to better weather the recession. “Green IT is a driver for the enterprises. For SMBs, virtualization is about getting more bang out of the utilities. Virtualization get 70 percent utilization out of servers,” says Ross Brown, vice president of solution providers at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Group. “SMB virtualization is about delaying the purchase of new servers or extending the life of existing infrastructure.”
