3PAR partners with PTC Systems for SaaS solution in Asia.

3PAR has announced a partnership with PTC Systems, a data management provider in Southeast Asia. David Scott, president and chief executive of 3PAR, said “The move is designed to take advantage of the growing demand in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia for Storage- and SaaS solutions in the region. Savvis has used 3PAR storage worldwide within its computing environments.”

Technology firm, Mixpo announced that it has received 4 million dollars worth of funding Madrona Venture Group LLC , as well as Growthworks Capital Ltd. and Yaletown Venture Partners in an effort to grow its platform for creating local and regional advertising. The company’s SaaS platform enables publishers to offer local advertisers the ability to manage and create high value video ads. The company was founded in 2006 and has created a technology platform that enables advertisers to easily create and manage video ads to be served at the local level.
