There's a million and one good API stories out there and it'd be impossible (and somewhat pointless) for CloudAve to cover them all.

From time to time however an interesting story comes along that for some reason piques ones interest. The Oprius and Freshbooks integration is one of those stories. Oprius (CloudAve review here) and Freshbooks (CloudAve review here) are two cool companies both based in Canada - those of you who know international relations will understand that New Zealanders and Canadians tend to get on pretty well so its a pleasure to review Canuck offerings from the other side of the world.

I met up with the CEOs of both companies earlier in the year at the Office 2.0 conference in San Francisco. Since then I've followed both their businesses and been impressed by the casual yet committed, plucky yet professional attitude they portray.

Anyway - the integration does what one would expect and hope - it allows for invoice generation from a contact register within the sales tool. A simple, but time saving task.

Considering that a picture is worth a thousand words, I invite you to heck out the demo video of the integration. One last word though - Founder of Oprius, Alan Smith tweeted me asking that I let other vendors know that they  "are looking for other people to integrate with as well".

Cool
