Again with the warnings: do not click on that link or reply to that email a new Gmail scam is making the rounds today. Don’t give out your e-mail information, including user name and password.
The e-mail contains this text:
We are shutting down some accounts due to congestion in our database system and your account was chosen to be deleted. If you are still interested in using our email service please click reply and fill in the space below for verification purpose:-
UserName:
PassWord:
Phone:
Country:
Note: This email is only for Gmail users (Users should reply within 48 hours to avoid “Permanently Lockup” Account)

The email comes in looking like this, and looks like a legit e-mail address for Google.
If you get something like this, it is not an e-mail from Google, but something to be aware of, and something to be careful about.

Thanks for the heads-up. It’s hard for me to imagine people who actually reply to this stuff nowadays (although it obviously happens). Google rolling the dice and deleting your account? Uncharacteristic grammar (for most “professional” businesses). It screams spam.
