    Nice post Randy!

    I guess you don’t buy the zCloud, as that’s a vertical scaling which does seem redundant in terms of benefits when compared to a well architected, horizontal Cloud scaling approach. Though big enterprise and big government love big iron, and have the money to burn regardless of budget surplus or deficit. Would love to hear your thoughts, compare/contrast on zCloud.

    On a separate note, it would be interesting to see a comparison of technical, non virtualization multi-tenant approaches. 😉

    Are you referring to the Zynga zCloud? They use virt mostly as an accelerated packaging format. Not even for multi-tenancy in any form. Their multi-tenancy exists up in the app layer as is appropriate given their use case.
