    Hi Ben,

Thanks for the shoutout. There’s no question that we’re not for everyone. But at scale, we’ve been happy to help Dell and Comcast and other folks not only just provide a monitoring solution, but an enterprise listening and engagement platform that they can use across the organization.

It all depends what you’re trying to accomplish, and we’re always looking for and acting on the feedback we get to make the platform more valuable and deliver clear ROI to our customers.

Thanks again for including us in your post!

Sysomos offers a social media monitoring and measurement service called Heartbeat that we describe as “cost effective” because it really is affordable, flexible and effective – and it’s a lot less than $40K. 🙂

If you and/or your friend would like a demo, let me know.

    cheers, Mark

Great post Ben – smart way to test their technology too.

I’m looking at Radian6, but hadn’t heard of Sysomos before and that looks pretty solid.

Radian6 have great customer service btw with the Australasian rep calling me to find out what we wanted to use it for.

The key for us is a good API that we can integrate into our dashboard.
