    Obviously, when adopting a cloud-based infrastructure, it’s all about security, privacy, compliance, provisioning and SLAs. However, once these criteria have been met and significant workloads and assets of large enterprises begin moving to the cloud, cost becomes important. Ask any CFO who is transitioning from an internal capex allocation environment to a cloud computing infrastructure where real dollars are being spent for an external opex environment. That’s when you will see cost becoming important.
