OK, juxtaposing these two unrelated (?) news is admittedly a bit morbid. And not exactly Cloud-y. Except that it’s all about Google…
Google’s self-driving car experience enters a new stage, as employees (well, some) will start using these cars for their daily commute. A nice commute, one might add, these are no longer Toyota Priuses, but Lexus RX450h SUVs. And if there’s any risk involved, well.. I guess that’s why they are paid the big bucks:-)
Oh, and one more thing: Google announced excellent death benefits to surviving spouses: they will receive 50% of the deceased Google employees salary for a decade.
Of course the two news are unrelated. (Are they?) 🙂
