Actually, I’m not sure I want her or not… but it’s hard not to see the resemblance between cc:Betty and her deceased sister, (I Want) Sandy. Sandy was an online virtual assistant, who passed away (OK, her creator got hired by Twitter) last November, amidst major user uproar.

I must admit I LOL’d when I saw this! It certainly looks like a Sandy rip off – right down to the Archie-esque naming, although I think that this poor Betty looks a bit too ‘housewifey’ for my needs.
It is a shame that the initial energy behind the open source cloning of iwantsandy has stalled. There is still a large hole in the web that needs to be filled.
