Well, isn’t it funny Ben just wrote about crutches, and this morning we almost needed them here @ CloudAve…
Earlier readers who used the Chrome browser may have been greeted by this warning:
Our support team @ Zoho (thanks, guys!) quickly jumped on the case and determined that the CloudAve itself does not contain malware, the problem is with hotlinked images and backlinks to bothsidesofthetable.com.
The site in question is Mark Suster’s blog, which indeed became victim of a malware attack and I know his support guys are working on a total cleanup and tightening security. Mark is a friend, valued contributor, and I personally think his series is a must-to-read for any aspiring entrepreneur. But self-defense comes first: for the moment, as an emergency solution we removed all of Mark’s posts, and as such Google now sees CloudAve “clean” again. As soon as we know Mark’s blog is safe again, we will restore those posts.
So if you got scared away by the warning earlier, I hope you still get to read this – come back, don’t worry, we’re safe:-)
Ah. I saw it pop up in Google Reader but it wasn’t clear which blog was to blame. Thanks for the update and good luck getting everything restored.
