Apologies, we have a solid backlog for Get In Early. Our goal is to get it to be a weekly feature. [If you want to apply, pls send us an email with your metrics and data.]
Up for #003 is Betterworks. We had CEO Kris Duggan on our “Second Timers” session at the ’15 Annual. A lot has happened since February. Betterworks has built up a world-class management team (recently hiring a great SVP of Sales from Box, an A+ VP of Marketing from Box (who will be speaking at ’16 Annual), an A+ CTO, an A+ VP Product from Salesforce, etc.).
The company is truly enterprise — doing bigger and bigger deals selling a true platform to manage goals, alignment, and employees across the enterprise. Six figure deals and later, beyond.
Betterworks started the year at token revenue and will end the year in the mid-seven figures ARR and I suspect, accelerating. Not too shabby. It’s backed by $15m+ from John Doerr / Kleiner Perkins and Formation 8.
More below. If you want to join a freemium co., don’t do this one. If you want to join something that could be the next Workday or Successfactors, but built on today’s state-of-the-art stack and technologies … this is a good one to look at.
Every startup has pros and cons, but if you want to get in early and see how one is really built selling to the true enterprise, that already has product-market fit and a strong pipeline and set of logos and a fun and great CEO … but isn’t so big you can’t run the table … this could be the one.
