A little while back, we did our first SaaStr AMA with Aaron Ross and BJ Lackland and it went pretty well. You can see that first experiment below if you want.
It tooks us a while to productize this, but now we’re kicking it off for real. We’ll turn this into a “Lunch with …” series where every 2 weeks, we do a Google Hangout AMA with someone great in SaaS. You can send in your questions ahead of time on Twitter or email.
First up is Christoph Janz on Point Nine Capital. Christoph many of you will know as a thought leader in SaaS in general — his first angel investment was Zendesk, and that went well. He’s since gone on to invest in many Europe-to-America leaders (including Algolia and FrontApp with me), has pretty epic returns in his fund, and much more. He’s one of the good guys in this venture industry.
>> You can pre-register here, and THANK YOU to SalesLoft for sponsoring this — that’s super awesome. <<
We’ll take about whatever you want, but notwithstanding the time difference between noon PST and almost everywhere outside the U.S., we’ll definitely reserve some time for a discussion about when, and if, to move your start-up to the U.S. and the Bay Area in particular in SaaS. I promise not to talk about valuations unless you ask. But it is an AMA, after all …
It will be a great discussion in general but if you are outside the Bay Area and even the U.S., you may find it particularly interesting.
